Helping You Plan A Wedding Day You’ll Actually Be Excited About.

  • Ooooh, how do you spell romance? I T A L Y!

Seriously, whether you're dreaming of saying "I do" in a quaint chapel or a dreamy vineyard, Italy's got it all.

Picture those rolling Tuscan hills, the breathtaking Amalfi Coast, or the charming streets of Venice—every corner is straight out of a love story. With its amazing food, rich culture, and that perfect Mediterranean vibe, Italy is the ultimate spot for a romantic elopement. Trust me, it’ll be a day you’ll never forget!

  • I know, I know that it’s really hard to choose since all the options sound fantastic – I understand that you wouldn’t mind exchanging vows on top of a mountain just as much as you wouldn’t mind doing so on a secluded, intimate beach. Unfortunately, we can’t be in more than one place at the same time, so from all these stunning locations, you'll have to select the one that suits you best.

When choosing the perfect location for your getaway, you can consider the following questions:

    1.  Do you want to spend your wedding day engaged in strenuous physical activities or would you prefer a slower day?

This may be the most important consideration when you begin planning your elopement day. Remember, you decided to organize an elopement because you want to please yourselves; you want your wedding day to be memorable, filled with everything you love. Therefore, it’s essential to be honest with yourself—if you’re not the sporty type, it might be best to avoid long hikes in the mountains or at least choose shorter trails. Likewise, if you’re not fond of nature and all that comes with it (yes, I’m talking about bugs), it may be better to plan your escape in one of the beautiful cities where there are plenty of exciting activities to enjoy.

    2.   What activities would we like to make our wedding day even more special?

Before I start with this question, I would like to remind you of the purpose of an elopement – it is a result and expression of a desire that lies within you – a desire for freedom of expression, a desire for spontaneity, a desire for originality... no idea related to your elopement can be too wild, too boring, or too demanding; it can only be what it is – perfect, authentic, yours. Therefore, sit down with your partner and talk – what activities do you enjoy the most? Is there a shared experience from your past that you both loved and would like to recreate just before saying your vows? I’m sure  there are many of them - now you only have to choose which ones you love the most.

    3.   What type of scenery inspires me the most and holds the most meaning for me?

When you see this question - which scenery comes to mind first? One experience that left an indelible mark on me was when my boyfriend took me on my first hike in Velebit. One of the sights I will never forget was when we were heading home; the sun was setting and illuminating the mountain peaks, while night was gently descending... at one moment we heard loud thundering sounds, and when we turned our gaze, a herd of eight wild horses ran past us from our right side! It was a breathtaking scene - the most beautiful mountain in Croatia, a stunning sunset, and on top of that - wild horses. For this reason, when I think of my perfect getaway, I know it will be in mountains! I'm sure you also have some unforgettable experience that inspires you to choose your perfect location - HAPPY BRAINSTORMING!

  • When planning an elopement in Italy, the weather varies significantly across the four seasons and across different regions.

    Winter (December to February)

Winter in Italy can vary widely. Northern regions, like the Alps, experience cold weather and snow while southern regions, like Sicily, are milder (temperatures around 10°C to 15°C while coastal areas are generally more temperate.

Choose places with indoor venues or cozy atmospheres, and dress warmly and expect fewer tourists, which can provide a more intimate setting.

    Spring (March to May)

Weather in spring is absolutely amazing! Temperatures ranging from 5°C to 15° with blooming flowers and occasional rain showers.

Spring is a beautiful time for an elopement, with nature in full bloom. Romantic gardens, lakeside views, and scenic valleys are perfect settings so be sure to pack layers for fluctuating temperatures and be ready for potential rain.

    Summer (June to August)

Summers are typically hot, especially in the south, with temperatures often reaching 30°C to 35°C in places like Rome, Florence, and the Amalfi Coast. Coastal areas tend to be humid.

Summer is the peak tourist season, which means popular sites can be crowded. Make sure to stay hydrated, and consider early morning or evening ceremonies to avoid the heat.

    Fall (September to November)

Fall sees a gradual cooling, with temperatures ranging from 15°C to 25°C in September, dropping further by November.

Fall is a lovely time for an elopement, with vibrant autumn colors and fewer crowds than summer. You may want to Consider wine country or coastal settings but be ready for cooler evenings and possible rain.
